looking for words you were
to make her see fireworks
in the sky of your fly
on the Fourth of July
jenny, jenny I've got your (IP) number
24.180.3.105
no area code necessary
these digits do the trick
you sought the Gee-Wiz!
for "poems to make her wet"
followed the yellowed-----stitched seams
& found yourself a home inside her \back pocket/
fingers spiral round the circumference
of denim clad spheres
eschewing independence that bright night
you wrapped yourself tight inside the flag of her embrace
just got word yesterday that this poem about love making
in this Googley milennium will be published in
THE SCIENCE CREATIVE QUARTERLY this fall!

Where to begin... congrats on this poem. Thanks for the "pearl" thing (that was a pleasant discovery). Thank you for referring me here... and wow, these are giants, all of the tall, tall trees you seem so easily to grow. Truly impressive.
Enjoyed the Dayton Law Review read as well. Roundly (or soundly) renaissance you are, and kindred too.

Thank you Glenn and Cherie! Much appreciated.
And thank you for your generosity Keith. Man, if you really read that entire law review article then I am floored. Not even my parents have read it in its entirety (but Mom does insist that she has).
"Renaissance" is too grand a term for the likes of me. But thank you for the accolade.
Cerebrally spastic might be more fitting.
Take care all,
yasmin
Congratulations!!! The poem deserves publication!
Tis but the begining, my dear. Your words shall caress many a tongue before you are done...
Thanks for the encouragement Pat and Ozy!
Great work!
Congrats on publication!
The visuals of this piece rock.
But I should've worn a cyber condom. My ISP's been exposed!
Jon: thanks as always
Ô¿Ô: thanks man; yeah I like the way this turned out; been experimenting...
Congratulations, keep writing and posting....
one of my favorite writers - had to also look up the DNA paper - nicely done!
Plus Ultra: I will. Your words of encouragement are helpful.
Steve: I'm truly flattered and honoured. Thanks for taking the time to read the article as well. It's a task I know.
This is so surprisinng and original. I work in webdesign and web marketing and I wouldn't have imagined that someone could turn all this into something sexy. Wish I could sell online marketing with such imagination. I hope not being bold in just correcting that you meant IP number instead of ISP number. Mind if I link this poem from my blog?
Cheers
Why thank you Sachin! You made my morning.
I'm glad you stopped by and I'd be honoured for the link.
And thank you for the heads up. You're right. IP not ISP. I will make the changes (I don't think my editors caught that either!).
Bravo! What an achievement! (sorry, i didn't comment sooner...I read this ages ago and could have sworn I wrote something here already!) Hungry for the next.
Thank you darling A. Lou!
I'm working on it...
Coming by for a second reading and still not quite sure I caught it all...but still enjoying the rhythm and the music
Yasmin,
It looks as though I am joining the band wagon late however, I must congratulate you for your poem. I wish you more attention for you have a unique slant that is well worth investigating. I can’t help but like your stuff.
Kaz
